Yulia Borik
JEWISH AGENCY ISRAEL FELLOW
Yulia is a first-year Jewish Agency Israel Fellow at Slifka Center. She was born in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, made Aliyah in 2002, and grew up in Bat Yam, Israel. During her youth, she dedicated seven years to ballroom dancing and volunteered with Magen David Adom throughout high school. Yulia graduated with a degree in Economics and Management from Ariel University. While studying, she gained experience in business development at BuildUp Ventures and interned under the Manager of Resource Development and Operations at Greenpeace, where she pursued her passion for environmental sustainability. For the past five years, Yulia worked as a flight attendant with El Al Airlines, enriching her understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and people worldwide. Yulia enjoys practicing yoga, Pilates, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) at the beach in her free time. Her favorite animals are turtles and dogs, and she looks forward to the day when she can adopt one.
