Aviva comes to Slifka with a background in community engagement and education in the history museum world. They have a BA in History and Spanish from Smith College, where they were actively involved in the student-run Jewish community. Aviva is passionate about community building; history as a tool for social justice and the arts; and contemporary Jewish cultural production. Aviva is so excited to participate in and foster a vibrant Jewish community at Yale through coffee chats, exciting programs, student leadership, and more. 

Aviva is a native of Connecticut and is thrilled to be back in New Haven. She loves singing and playing music, hiking and backpacking, rock climbing, and skiing.
