Are you planning to attend your Yale College Reunion this May and June? We hope you will include Slifka Center in your celebrations!
And this year, it’s Slifka’s “reunion year” too! Our beautiful building at 80 Wall Street across from Silliman first opened in 1995, and we will be marking our own 30th Anniversary from now and throughout the 1995-96 Academic Year.
Slifka Center plans to offer a Friday afternoon open house “Kiddush and Candles” reception for all alumni and guests, followed by Shabbat dinner. Prayer services will also be held if there is interest. And new this year, Slifka plans to offer a “Shabbat Bagels” event on Saturday morning – details to follow.
There will also be opportunities for tours, as well as to have kosher meals delivered to your class location throughout your reunion.
We also invite you to check out SlifkaCenter.org/swag — and meet our own bulldog mascot, Menschy Dave — to help show your Slifka Pride at Reunions and throughout the year!

A Call for Photos!
Shabbat dinners at Slifka. Holiday celebrations. A late-night study break with friends. That unforgettable moment from your student group event or Birthright trip. We’d love to see it.
We’re putting together a special photo display in the Rabinowitz Gallery on our second floor for Reunion Weekend—and we’re hoping to feature moments from across the decades. Imagine seeing Jewish life at Yale from the 1960s to the 2020s come to life through your memories.
If you have a photo (or a few) to share, please upload them here and add a quick note about what it is—what year, who’s in it, or why it holds dear to you.
Let’s tell the story of Jewish Yale—together!
If you have trouble uploading your photos, please email Communications Manager Gia Doxey here.
