Everyone is warmly invited to join us for Shabbat meals at Slifka Center. Our family-style Shabbat dinner is served on Friday at 7:00 pm, following services. Family-style Shabbat lunch is served on Saturday at 12:30 pm, following services.

Current Yale students on a meal plan may use their meal swipe when they arrive. Shabbat-friendly ID cards can be prepared in advance for this purpose – contact Margarita for assistance at margarita.nieves@yale.edu

We are pleased to offer complimentary Shabbat meals for current Yale students not on a meal plan (undergraduate, graduate and professional students, post-docs and medical residents). In order to make sure that we have enough food on hand, we strongly encourage those participating in this program to RSVP by the preceding Thursday at 4:00 pm.

Please note that the deadline for online registration for Shabbat meals is Thursday at 4:00 pm. After this time, please come to Slifka Center to pay for your meal. We accept check or credit card for payment.

Meal Prices

Shabbat Dinner: Adult – $18; Children under 12: $9
Shabbat Lunch: Adult – $13; Children under 12: $6.50

All Shabbat meals:
Children under 3 –  complimentary
Yale student on a meal plan – Yale meal swipe (no need to register online)
Yale student not on a meal plan – complimentary, registration requested by Thursday at 4:00 pm
Spouse or child of current Yale student – $5
