Shabbat
The egalitarian (men and women participate equally) minyan at Yale is student-led, student-organized, and open to people of all backgrounds. Friday evening’s service begins at 5:45pm. Everyone is encouraged to participate and can learn to lead services or give a d’var Torah (commentary on the weekly Torah portion).
Every other Saturday morning we meet for a song-filled service for students, faculty and members of the greater New Haven community. Shabbat services start with P’sukei D’zimra at 9:30am. We encourage all forms of participation. All are welcome!
For more information, please contact one of our student gabbaiim: Talia Schechet (stephanie.schechet@yale.edu), Gabe Groz (gabriel.groz@yale.edu), or Sasha Stern (sasha.stern@yale.edu).
