Prospective Students

Welcome to Jewish Student Life at Yale!

Hello, Class of 2024 — congratulations, and welcome to Yale! We are so excited to welcome you to Yale’s Jewish community, virtually now and in-person soon. The Slifka Center for Jewish Life is an active, vibrant, and diverse Jewish community, and Slifka plays a central role in bringing together all our community has to offer. Please take a look around our website and contact our Hillel student Co-Presidents, Numi Katz ’22 and Avi Cooper ’22  for more information — they are always happy to help!

Please join us this Thursday (4/23) from 8:30 – 9:30pm ET for a conversation with current Yale students who are involved with the Slifka Center for Jewish Life to learn about all of the different shapes that Jewish student life takes at Yale. You can join on Zoom here! In the meantime, you can take a look at our FAQ, and get to know our student board and our wonderful staff members; everyone is so excited to meet you and answer any questions. Additionally, if you’d like to be put in touch with current students in the Slifka community and receive more information about the Slifka Center, please fill out this very quick form. From all of us, welcome to Yale — we can’t wait to meet you!
