Prospective Students

Welcome to Jewish Student Life at Yale!

Hello, Class of 2025 – congratulations on getting in! Welcome to Yale!

If you’re here, that means you must be curious about Jewish life at Yale, and we are so excited to welcome you to Yale’s Jewish community. Yale has an active, vibrant, and diverse Jewish community, and the Slifka Center brings together all our community has to offer.

Though we wish we could be plying you with ice cream and goodies during Bulldog Days as we tell you what we love most about Yale and Slifka, we’ll do our best to recreate that virtually for now and are hoping to see your beautiful faces on campus soon enough.

Sign up here if you would like to be put in touch with current students or get more information about Slifka!

Please check out the rest of our website, and get to know our student groups, staff and student leaders. Contact our Hillel student Co-Presidents, Ruthie Davis ’23 (610-592-7962 or and Zevi Siegal ’23 (917-886-7833 or if you want more information or just want to say hi— they are always happy to help!

And mark your calendars:

Friday 4/16 at 5:45 ET, the Reform Havura minyan invites you to join them on Zoom and get a taste of what they’re all about. Whether you’re Reform or not, there will be prayer, singing, and reflection as well as a friendly community. It should be a great introduction to the Reform community at Yale and a good way to welcome Shabbat. Zoom link here.

Friday 4/23 from 4:30 – 5:30pm ET join us to hear from current Yale students who are involved with the Slifka Center for Jewish Life & learn about all of the different shapes that Jewish student life takes at Yale!! Zoom link here.

From all of us, welcome to Yale — we can’t wait to meet you!
