Asian-Themed Game Night (Hosted by the Asian Jewish Union at Slifka)

As a new affinity group of the Slifka Center, The Asian Jewish Union is excited to host its first event: The Asian Themed Game Night at the Slifka Center. We hope to include traditional Asian board games like Ma Jiang 麻将, Chinese Chess 象棋, Go 五子棋, Landlord 斗地主, Carrom, and more. We also will be providing traditional snacks such as Want-want rice crackers, Pocky sticks, Mochi, and an Asian snack with Jewish heritage: the Orion Pie. Game night will be open to all students, Asian Jews and non-Asian Jews alike. By creating an Asian themed game night, we hope the Asian Jewish Union can take the opportunity to share its Asian mosaic of their Jewish identity to the rest of Jewish Community here at Yale. We so excited to meet everyone on October 1st.
